Sarah Joy Brown won three Emmy Awards before her twenty-fifth birthday. She began her acting career at the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Performing Arts and is a graduate of both L.A.C.H.S.A.'s Theatre Department and Alexander Hamilton's Academy of Music. Sarah's professional acting career was launched on her nineteenth birthday when she was selected as the series lead on the hugely popular children's series V.R. Troopers which aired in more than thirty countries around the world. Two years later, Sarah won the lead role of Carly Roberts/Spencer/Corinthos on the iconic ABC daytime series General Hospital. Sarah's performance was widely hailed by critics and resulted in one of daytime TV's most memorable characters. In five years on General Hospital Sarah was nominated for four Emmy awards and won three. Since leaving General Hospital, Sarah has appeared on multiple hit television series and became a series regular on Cold Case. She followed Cold Case with a co-starring role in the blockbuster comedy "Big Mommas House 2" starring comedy legend Martin Lawrence. In 2008 Sarah returned to General Hospital in the newly created role of Claudia Zacchara for which she was nominated for another Emmy award.
