One of Ireland's favourite Abbey Theatre actors whose most famous works include "Lies My Father Told Me" and "The Quare Fellow". Harry was one of Ireland's finest theatre comic actors. Born in Hollywood, Co Down on May 5th 1905. Married to Nell they had 5 children Anne, John, Patricia, Sheamus & Fergus. The children followed in his footsteps with Anne and Patricia acting and John working as the Stage Manager in the Olympia Theatre for the last 30 years. Harry's father was John Brogan the famous piper and pipe-maker.
