Carol Kane

Carol Kane pursued her artistic formation beginning in childhood: she studied theater at HB Studio and attended the Professional Children’s School in New York. She became a member of both Screen Actors Guild and Actors’ Equity at fourteen and made her professional stage debut in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Her work spans stage, film, television, and voice roles. In television, she moved from guest spots to recurring roles and long-running shows. Kane collaborated with writers, directors, and co-actors including Andy Kaufman, and worked in productions that required dialect, voice or accents. Her working methods include rehearsal-driven preparation in theater, balancing dramatic and comedic material, and selecting roles across media.
