Vincent D’Onofrio is an American actor and filmmaker. Born in Brooklyn, he began his career in community theaters and trained in method acting at the Actors Studio. He gained international recognition with Full Metal Jacket (1987) and was acclaimed for The Whole Wide World (1996). On television, he is known as Detective Robert Goren in Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001–2011) and as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in Marvel’s Daredevil and Hawkeye. In addition to acting, he has directed and produced film projects, explored music, and published a children’s book. Co-founder of the RiverRun International Film Festival, he continues mentoring and guiding new generations of artists.
