Having studied Fashion Design at Vienna's University of Applied Arts (with Professors Marc Bohan, Jean Charles de Castelbajac and Vivienne Westwood), Thomas Oláh specializes in costume design for the screen and the stage with a special dedication to period productions. In addition, his "oláh" design studio crafts custom outfits and evening dresses for notable individuals and occasions and offers bespoke tailoring services. A newly minted "PhD," Oláh lectures on history at his alma mater and frequently collaborates across disciplines, most recently with New York-based artist Shirin Neshat.
