Larson, one of six children, grew up in a small dairy/farming community in Wisconsin with a population of about 800. Her father, a church minister, later joined the Army as a chaplain and moved his family out of their small town to live in several different cities including Mannheim, Germany where Larson attended all four years of High School Having decided as a child to pursue her passion for acting and eager to get started, Larson moved to Los Angeles three days after her high school graduation to begin her career. To round out her already worldly experiences Larson also attended Cal State Los Angeles and majored in history. A graduate of the Professional Actors Conservatory, Larson is a dynamic stage actress whose performance as "Jill" in the Los Angeles stage production of Jack and Jill won the hearts of critics and earned her rave reviews. The L.A. Weekly called her "engrossing" and "elegantly satisfying." Larson has appeared in many theatrical productions including The Cherry Orchard, Prelude to a Kiss and Ah Wilderness. Most recently, Larson co-wrote, produced and starred in a short film about the unique craziness that is the Sundance Film Festival. When not acting, writing or producing, Larson is a marathon runner and an active member of Women In Film, where she serves as the chair of the Beverly Hills Chapter.
