Robert Vitelli, originally from North Brunswick, New Jersey, went directly into formal acting training at the industry respected Los Angeles Theater of Arts after graduating from high school. Less than three years into his theatrical career, Robert landed the lead role of Captain "Sharky" Kirgo in Mars and Beyond (2000), the latest science fiction drama from the creators of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). Following his adventures in space, Robert was cast as the lead in two romantic comedies, Lucky Angel (1996) directed by Peter R.J. Deyell and Eating L.A. (1999) directed by award winning director Steven D. Binder. Along with a number of independent film roles the makers of the hit film Swingers (2002) grabbed Robert for a role in their highly acclaimed and most recent film See Jane Run (2001). Robert was then cast in the starring roles of two back-to-back action films. The first is _Lessons for an Assassin, in which Robert plays the lead role opposite 'Shannon Lee' (daughter_ of martial arts legend Bruce Lee) and Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993)). The second film, entitled The Killing Point (2002), Robert also made his directorial debut and co-starred Kelly Packard. Most recently, Robert filmed a Television Special entitled "The Magic of Vitelli" (2009).
