Dorsay Alavi

Dorsay Alavi is the founding partner of Brave World Pictures, a motion picture and television production company. She has worked in the motion picture industry as a writer, producer and director. She graduated from UCSD with a degree in Visual Art and Film Production. Dorsay began her career as a screenwriter. Her first script caught the attention of David Lynch who attached his name to the project and later became her mentor. Since then, Dorsay has directed commercials, documentaries, music videos, television and feature films. Her cinematic ode to Jazz Legend Wayne Shorter is depicted in a 3 part film series that is set for release in 2021 with Brad Pitt and Plan B attached as executive producers.
