Anne Aston was born Anne Lloyd in Glasgow, Scotland, but up grew up in West Bromwich, Midlands, England. She attended West Bromwich Technical High School, then worked in the travel agency run by her father before turning to television. Best known in the late sixties and 1970's on the Golden Shot.
