Biography

Diplomat and filmmaker. He has worked as a producer and director of short films, feature films, documentaries and videos. Graduated in Law from UFRJ, he was a diplomat from 1967 to 1974. He then studied filmmaking in Los Angeles from 1971 to 1974, and from 1975, with the creation of AeB Produções, he dedicated himself professionally to cinema. His first feature film was the musical documentary “The Sweet Barbarians” (1978), which he produced and directed. He was director of photography and sound technician on several films, among them “Muito prazer” (1979), by David Neves, which won the award for best cinematography at the 12th Brasilia Film Festival. He continues to develop in the areas of production, sound and direction.
