Criag Ayers has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years rising quickly at each level along the way. Prior to the entertainment industry Ayers served 3 years in the Army as a Military Policeman. During his time in the Military he also worked with the Hawaiian Police Department through Hawaiian Armed Services Police. He then moved on to the Casino industry where he spent the next 15 years dealing and supervising in Lake Tahoe NV, Nassau Bahamas and Las Vegas, NV where he opened the famous Mirage Poker Room. Ayers attended film school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas while working in the casino industry. It was in the casino industry where he honed the skill of dealing with numerous personalities at once. He always knew that Hollywood was the place for him and after 15 years in the casino industry he made the moved to Hollywood. Once in Hollywood he started out like many before him, with the legendary Roger Corman. He worked his way up from Production Assistant to 1st Assistant Director and quickly moved on to Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Line Producer & Producer working with major studios and independent film companies. Ayers' knowledge of the film industry through the Assistant Director & Production Management route has given him invaluable set experience and allows him to foresee many problems a movie may have and stop them before wasting valuable production dollars. Thus, putting the money where it needs to be spent, on the screen. Ayers has Produced, Production Managed & Line Produced feature films, commercials and music videos for major studios and independent film companies in the United States and Internationally. He has worked on the Oscar nominated "Into the Wild" directed by Sean Penn (spending 6 months in Alaska and South Dakota), "127 Hours" starring James Franco about Aron Ralston's incredible journey while hiking, "Winged Creatures" a dramatic piece staring Kate Beckinsale, Guy Pearce, Dakota Fanning and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, and recently "Tomorrowland" a Disney production starring George Clooney. As well as working throughout the United States he has also shot films in Romania, Brazil and Puerto Rico. When not making movies, he resides in New Mexico with his wife and two daughters where he enjoys golf, carrying a 9 handicap, poker and more golf.
