Rick Baldwin

Ricky Baldwin was born in a Kentucky farmhouse, (just like Daniel Boone). Each of Ricky's clans taught him to love and laugh, as he often fell asleep listening to aunts and uncles describe their zany childhood adventures - those memories helped Ricky become a storyteller... His parents also raised 2 younger sisters. Camping trips were Ricky's best childhood memories. While raising his child Rebecca, he continued with those same camping traditions. He enjoyed playing high school football with the America's only two-time Heisman trophy winner, Archie Griffin. His first stage role was Alfie Dolittle in "My Fair Lady". Won that role by singing in cockney voice, Herman's Hermits tune Henry the Eighth! Since that time, Ricky's been a teacher, appeared in National and International TV, Print, and Film, and been blessed with two grandchildren, (they call him "Poppy"). In 2006 Ricky retired from a 28-year career in infant formula as he worked for the Ross Products Division of Abbott Labs. In that career, he cared for the physical needs of all children, and now as Santa all year, he enjoys caring for the emotional needs of all children, especially those known as adults. As Santa, Ricky combines all his theater, singing, storytelling, and even puppetry into his act. People enjoy his 4 foot tall polar bear puppet, Pierre. He's booked live events nationally and even in Hong Kong.
