Kiran was born in Manchester. She began on stage at the age of three as a dancer, then gaining her first acting role as a talking, dancing cow. aged 11 in a reworking of Orwell's Animal Farm. Kiran was accepted at Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama, to study classic and modern acting technique and physical theatre.
