Mairtín de Barra

Mairtín has over 20 years' experience in the film, TV and digital branded content industries. He has worked as a Producer, Director, Line Producer, and is a former location manager. Work he has directed is Emmy and Kidscreen nominated. He has made programmes for RTÉ, Setanta Ireland, and the BBC, (where he spent five years working as an in-house Self-Shooting Producer/Director), making documentaries, short films for the One Show, and arts/entertainment series. He has a long and varied history in the film and TV industry, from movies like 'the General,' to series like 'Love/Hate', and retains a passion for delivering content that's more than a sum of its parts.
