Arturo Del Rio is an Executive Producer, Line Producer, and Production Manager based in Mexico City specialized in producing American, Canadian, and European Films in Latin America. After Film School, Arturo starts working on several American films. In 1988 Arturo worked as the personal assistant of Tony Scott on "Revenge." Then, for over a decade, he worked as Assistant Director in Music Videos, T.V. Commercials, and Films such as: "Perfect Target", "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer", and "Journey Into Amazing Caves". As UPM Arturo filmed "The Mexican" with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts for Dreamworks Pictures; "Vampires - Los Muertos" (2001) for Screengems; "Deadly Swarm" and "Puerto Vallarta Squeeze" (2002); Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill -Volume II" (2003) and "The Matador" (2004) for Miramax Films; "Nacho Libre" (2005) for Paramount Pictures; "Vantage Point" (2006) for Sony Pictures; "The Heartbreak Kid" (2006) for Dreamworks Pictures; "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" (2007) for Disney Pictures; "Fast and Furious" (2008) for Universal Pictures; "Limitless" (2010) for Relativity Media and "All is Lost" starring Robert Redford (2012). In Panama, he Line Produced "Hands of Stone", starring Robert DeNiro (2014). In 2015 Arturo Line Produced the Cuban Unit for "Transformers: The Last Knight" for Paramount Pictures and, in 2016 the Mexican Unit of "Everything, Everything" for MGM. In 2017 he was Production Supervisor of "Un Traductor" in Cuba. Also, in 2017 and 2018, he was Executive Producer for the Netflix series "Ingobernable Second Season", filmed in Colombia and Mexico. In 2019 he worked in Rwanda as Executive Producer of "91 Nights", and Lined Produced the Mexico Unit of "Half Brothers" for NBC/Universal. From 2019 to 2021 he worked as Director of Production for Fabrica de Cine developing and packaging film projects. Since April 2021 he works at Amazon Studios as Senior Production Executive Latin America Local Original Movies .
