Din began his career as a television writer creating original episodes for the award-winning HBO animated series Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child. A staff job on the ABC/Warner Bros. series On Our Own followed, as well as pilots for Disney and Fox, before Din changed course to become an agent in the Independent Film Division of the William Morris Agency. There, he worked on the packaging and distribution of dozens of films including Kurt & Courtney, The Apostle, and SLC Punk. Din left the agency after 4 years to return to writing -- and to begin producing -- which he did with Alexandre Rockwell's 13 Moons. The film, which stars Steve Buscemi, Peter Dinklage and Jennifer Beals opened the Slamdance Film Festival where it was acquired for distribution by Lot 47. Din writes and produces across all formats -- film, documentary, scripted and reality television. Most recent projects include: Monty Clift, with Anonymous Content for HBO Films (executive producer), starring Matt Bomer in the titular role; One Trick Rip-Off, adapted from Paul Pope's beloved graphic novel of the same name (producer); Capture Now, based on the hit off-Broadway play by Josh Jonas, with multi-Tony Award-winning producer, Jane Bergere (producer); The Sun Dies In The West, a modern western starring Jason Patric (producer); Jesus of Sex, a new television series created by Chad Faust (executive producer); Green Olive Martini, a new pilot (written and created by); Impact Generation, a new kind of news program, for Fantail Entertainment (created by, writer); Deniece Willams: The Second Act, a reality series for New Chapter Entertainment (created by, executive producer); Shades of Kenn Gray, a reality series for LMNO Productions (created by, executive producer); and The Mission, a documentary that explores the mutual relationship between basketball's rise as the preeminent sport of postwar American cities, and the socioeconomic decline of the city itself (producer). Prior to his involvement in the entertainment business, Michael worked as a marketing executive for billionaire industrialist David H. Murdock (Dole Foods) while pursuing his education in English and Political Science at UCLA.
