Hisashi Eguchi is a Japanese manga artist born on March 29 1956. He made his professional manga debut with "Susume!! Pirates" in the manga "Weekly Shounen Jump" in 1977. He started drawing manga from the third grade of elementary school, influenced by "Seven Color Mask", "Gekkou Mask" and "Astro Boy". He graduated from Chiba Prefectural Sakai High School in March 1974. Eguchi married idol Mari Mizutani in 1990.
