Paul Ehrmann began his film career as an Assistant Director Trainee on "In the Heat of the Night," and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." He went on to work as an actor with small roles with such stars as William Holden, Sidney Poitier, Henry Fonda, Sean Connery and Sylvester Stallone (credited as Paul Laurence) in the cult favorite, "Death Race 2000." He was a guest performer with the television casts of "Designing Women," "ER," "The West Wing" and "The Practice." But the bulk of his Hollywood work was as a writer for network television with multiple episodes of "Cagney & Lacey," "The Paper Chase," "Hunnter," "Hart to Hart," "The New Maverick, "Fame," and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."
