Peter Elliott is the film industry's primary primate. He works both as a performer, in films like Missing Link (1988) and The The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), and as a choreographer of other performers, as in Gorillas in the Mist (1988) and Congo (1995). He also teaches animal study at London's Central School of Speech and Drama. The gorilla expert in Congo (1995) is named Peter Elliott, and Michael Crichton has said he may have named him after Peter.
