Craig Carothers is an American singer-songwriter originally from Portland, Oregon. Craig has co-written with Bruce Hornsby, Marty Stewart, Don Henry, Maia Sharp and others. Craig Carothers's "Little Hercules" was recorded for Trisha Yearwood's 1996 gold album "Everybody Knows." His songs have been recorded by Kathy Mattea, Lorrie Morgan, Peter, Paul and Mary and many international artists. He is a regular at the songwriting circles at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and he has shared a stage with Janis Ian, David Wilcox, Gretchen Peters, Michael McDonald and Richard Thompson. When he is not performing on tour, Craig teaches songwriting at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
