Sal Carino

Sal began his film career as a Set Builder while still in college. After many different job positions in film & t.v. production, Sal was encouraged to train in Production Finance. After quickly learning how to budget and manage accounting for film and t.v, Sal found this to be a great training ground into becoming a Producer. One of Sal's proudest achievement was to work as the Production Controller for 6 seasons of HBO's big hit "The Sopranos." Sal found a home at HBO where he continued working on some of their biggest productions. After many years of free-lance he accepted a corporate role at HBO as Vice President Production Finance. Sal eventually returned to production free-lance to again pursue his goal of becoming a Producer, Co-Producing his first project in 2016 for Amazon Studios "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel" (created by Amy Sherman-Palladino.) After the pilot airing, the project went on to be picked up for 2 seasons, a first for Amazon Studios, starting in 2017. "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel" went on to win numerous awards, including the Golden Globe and The Television Academy's Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series for it's 1st season and continues to be nominated and win awards into it's 3rd season.
