She graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1978.In 1969, she plays first role in the movie Vîrstele omului . Other notable roles in films : Singuratatea florilor (1976), Din nou împreuna (1978) . Play on the stage of the theater ''Bulandra '' in Bucuresti.She was married with actor Ion Caramitru.
