He is remembered among other things for being interpreter, alongside Vittorio Gassman, an episode of the 1963 "I mostri" movie. Actor and director, he was the founder of the Theatre of the Satyrs in Rome, where he became the first producer and artistic director. He was married to actress Elvy Lissiak.
