Andreá Cassar

Mr. Andreà Cassar (also known as Andreà G. Cassar, Andre Cassar) was born in Siracusa, Sicily in 1983 to an Italian mother, and an Italian-born father. He is an Italian and American actor, photography model, painter, sculptor, graphic and visual designer, and craftsman. Andreà is a 4th generation artist, son of the ceramist and painter Concetta Rizza (b. 1961 d. 1999); and grandson of the well-known Italian sculptor and painter Carmello "Detto Baio" Rizza (b. 1932 d. 2009). Rizza is mostly known for his oil paintings of southern Italian landscapes and scenes of Sicilian folk life. Andreà has won numerous accolades and awards for his artistic and visual design work, which ranges from oil paintings to visual displays for high-end retail companies in New York City and the tri-state area. Andreà is a graduate of the Stephen Decatur Elementary School (1997) and Stephen Decatur High School (2001) in Sigonella, Sicily. In 2004 Andreà Cassar emigrated from Italy to the United States. He graduated from Rutgers University, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Arts.
