Edward Alexander Chaney Jr. was born to Ed Sr. and Margaret Chaney on March 15, 1918 in Long Island, New York. He served in the air force during World War II before trying to make it as an actor in Hollywood. Edward worked for 37 years on the camera crew for such CBS shows as "The Carol Burnett Show", "Dinah Shore", "Three's Company" and "All In The Family". He also worked on The $10,000 Pyramid (1973), "The Danny Kaye Show", "Playhouse 90", "Hello Again", the 1960 winter Olympics, and "The Young And The Restless". Ed received four Emmys for his outstanding camera work. He married his wife Paulette in 1946 and had four daughters, Cathy, Dee Dee, Pammy and Debbie and his only son, Eddie. Always keeping in close contact with his family, Edward watched his 10 grand children and 2 great grand children grow up swimming in his pool and playing in his backyard. He passed away on June 13, 2002 after a long struggle with heart and lung complications.
