Of Spanish and British descent, Kika Child has been acting on film, TV, and theater since she was 18 years old and landed her first lead role on a TV series in her native Colombia. Having watched the Italian classic "Cinema Paradiso" over and over, she realized it was movies that she aspired to do. A few months later life introduced her to beloved Argentinean filmmaker Leonardo Favio, who was still auditioning actresses for his upcoming film "Gatica, el Mono". Kika played the naive wife of this legendary boxer in this award-winning 90's film, and continued starring in prime-time television series and award-winning films, in versatile comedic and dramatic roles with directors such as Pepe Sanchez and Sergio Cabrera, until moving to New York City in the late 90's in search of personal and professional growth. She is a founding member of TabulaRasa NYC Theater and Performance Lab and has starred in plays like "The House of the Spirits". She can be seen in "Doña Flor and Her Two Husbands" at the Spanish Repertory Theater, NYC.
