Denise Clemons is the author of "A Culinary History of Southern Delaware" published by American Palate, a Division of The History Press. Denise has written "Cape Flavors", a weekly food column for the home cook, for the Delaware regional newspaper Cape Gazette since 2005. She offers nutrition workshops, cooking demonstrations and presentations on topics related to food and history at venues across the Mid-Atlantic States. Denise holds a BA in Biopsychology from Vassar College and an MA in writing from Johns Hopkins University. She is also a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association, the Rehoboth (Delaware) Writers Guild and she serves on the boards of a number of non-profit organizations, including the Daughters of the American Revolution.
