He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1975.In 1976, he plays first role in the movie Domnisoara Nastasia. Other notable roles in Calculatorul marturiseste (1982) , Trenul de aur (1986) , Vulpe-vânator (1993) . Play on the stage of the theater ''Mic'' in Bucharest. .He is married with actress Consuela Condurache.They have two children Sebastian and Irina.
