Valentin Goshev was born in 1963 in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. In 1998 he graduated in Film Studies and in 2001 - in Film and TV Directing from National Academy for Theathe and Film Art,Sofia. He is a director of documentaries and short films. He also took part as an actor in Bulgarian films. His best performance is in the film "Letter to America". "Lonely Hearts" (2007) is his first feature film.
