Jose Guitierez

Jose Xtravaganza was born as Jose Gutierez. He took the name "Xtravaganza" after joining the Legendary House of Xtravaganza (one of the vogue houses in the united States) founded Hector Xtravaganza. He is a classically trained dancer and has been involved in the ball scene since the 1980s. Jose was one of the dancers and choreographers in Madonna's vogue video (1990), and also appeared in Madonna: Truth or Dare (1991). Jose was also featured in Jennie Livingston's Paris Is Burning (1990) documentary along with Willi Ninja. He is a member of the Legendary House of Xtravaganza and the current "Father" of the House.
