Although she made her film debut in "Cuban Blood" at the age of nine and was aged 12 at the film's release, Anisa Guajardo did not embark on a traditional child acting career. Rather, she has achieved her biggest exploits on the athletic fields. A four-year letter winner in association football (soccer) at Buchanan High School in Clovis, California, Guajardo scored 54 goals and provided 20 assists in helping her team to win four consecutive California Interscholastic Federation Central Section titles from 2005-2009. Guajardo then moved on to Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where she was also a four-year letter winner and finished her career with 27 goals and 14 assists from 2009 to 2012. Nine of her 27 career goals for the Waves were match winners; those 27 goals are good enough for fourth all-time in Waves women's soccer history. Following her junior year, Guajardo was called up to the Mexican senior women's national team for the 2012 CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament. She started one of the team's four matches, scoring a hat trick against the Dominican Republic, and appeared as a substitute in two others. Guajardo will play in the National Women's Soccer League in 2013 for the Boston Breakers.
