Born in Sacramento, California. Martin Hall attended U. C. Davis and Loyola Marymount University. Live-action film credits include lighting the model miniatures for Deep Rising (1998) for Dream Quest Images, Con Air (1997), Flubber (1997), _Armageddon (1998)_, My Favorite Martian (1999), Bicentennial Man (1999) and Mission to Mars (2000). Photographed large-format plates for _The X Files (1993)_ and _The Practice (1997)_. Digital compositing and 3D work at Pacific Title include the following credits: _The Replacements (2000)_, _MonkeyBone (2001)_, Driven (2001), _Dungeons and Dragons (2001)_, _Joyride (2001)_, -Black Knight (2001), _The Last Castle (2001)_, -_Freddie Got Fingered (2001)_, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Rollerball (2002), _The Bourne Identity (2002)_, _Tuxedo (2002)_, _K19: The Widowmaker (2002)_ , Men in Black II (2002), Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), and Catwoman (2004). In New Zealand he did compositing on The Lord of the Rings: _The Two Towers (2002)_. Martin has been the producer of several visual effects heavy projects. . Currently, Martin is gearing up to join the Microsoft Surface Design team as the Senior Art Director. The goal for this project is to bring a more cinematic experience to the gestural interface.
