Since 1994 he has served as President and Chief Technology Officer for Multimedia Programming America (MPA) a company that develops and markets high-tech computer solutions for the television & motion picture industry, and during these years has become a nationally recognized expert. Bart has also been involved as film editor and post-production supervisor on a number of commercially successful feature projects and was founding partner in The HD Suite, one of the very first end-to-end digital High Definition production facilities in America. Before that Bart was involved in corporate IT with ten years experience in enterprise level database software development, distributed data networking, shared-storage, and multimedia software design. Bart served as the Systems Architect and Senior Developer for Software Systems Design, Inc. from 1988 to 1994. Prior to beginning his computer career Bart spent five years as a commercial pilot operating such executive class twin-engine aircraft as the Beachcraft Queenair, Cessna 402, and the Rolls Royce manufactured Beagle 206. He also has rotor-craft experience primarily in the Bell J2A Ranger and the Bell G2 series helicopters. In the early 1970's Bart was an original member of the regionally celebrated hit rock band, Latifundia, touring with such national acts as Canned Heat, Mitch Ryder, Chambers Brothers, and The Steve Miller Band. Prior to this brief encounter with stardom Bart had fulfilled one of his boyhood dreams when he was hired as an engine crew member on the Norfolk & Western Railroad driving mile-long freight trains back and forth between Montpelier, Ohio and Decatur, Illinois. At the time, it was one of the most sought-after, impossible-to-get jobs in his rural home town of Peru, Indiana.
