.Hilde started her film career with a leading role internationally, alongside Catherine Deneuve, James Wilby and Denis Lavant in "la partie' d'echec" directed by Yves Hanchar (best movie int. filmfestival Gent) and later on in "Olivetti 82" alongside Dirk Roofthooft. She played the part of the Grand actress in "Parade's End", a tvseries for HBO/BBC2 directed by Susanna White (Nanny Mc Phee, Jane Eyre) and adapted by Sir Tom Stoppard. Hilde worked together with director Tom Shankland, and actors as James Nesbitt and Thecky Karyo for a drama series " the Missing". The BBC, in partnership with Starz, co-produced "the Missing". Hilde started the year 2018 by shooting "Sinner" directed and written by Emilie Verhamme. In may '18 , she plays one of the leading parts in "Cruise Control", directed by Rudi Van Den Bossche. Hilde played great roles in tvseries such as Catherine Smets in "Coppers" (directed by Maarten Moerkerke, Gina in "180" directed by Jacob Verbruggen (the fall), Sonja in "Deadline" (dir. by Maarten Moerkerke) Catherine in "Wij Alexander" (dir. by Rimko Haanstra / Amsterdam), Jacoba in " Flanders fields" (dir. by Jan Mathijs), "code 37" (dir. by Jacob Verbruggen), Hanna in " The Rodenburgs", "Wolven" ,"vijfhoek", "Vermist", "Aspe" etc..... Hilde played leading roles in over 40 plays from -among others- Shakespeare, Garcia Lorca, Strindberg,T. Willliams, Srbljanovis, Tom Lanoy, Ionescu .. Hilde created performances for the university of Antwerp, together with Tuur Florizoone and Alain Pringels for the honory doctorates in 2012 (Harald Zur Hauzen, Bernard macGin, Peter J. Katzenstein and Luc Devroy, and the doctoris honoris causa Franco Dragone, and in 2013 for the 10th anniversary of Antwerp University. Hilde gives every year a four week masterclass for the Masters for Audiovisuals Arts at R.I.T.C.S (departement of Stijn Coninx).
