Anita Hegerland

Anita Hegerland is famous for her childhood music and acting career in the late 60s and 70s. In 1971 she was the most successful female child star in the world, together with Michael Jackson. They both sold two million copies of their biggest hit that year. Thirteen year old Jackson in USA with his solo debut single «Gotta Be There» med ten year old Hegerland in Germany together with Roy Black with the song «Schön ist es auf der Welt zu sein». In the 80s and early 90s, Anita had a very successful collaboration with the English musician Mike Oldfield, and was one of his most important vocalists together with Maggie Reilly, Barry Palmer, Kevin Ayers, Adrian Belew, Bonnie Tyler, Chris Thompson and Nikki Lamborn. She sang two of his biggest hits «Pictures in the dark» (1985) and «Innocent»(1989). Anitas voice has been sold on more than 30 million records worldwide. She's worked in the studio together with Roy Black(1971-85), Rolf Løvland, Secret Garden (1983), Gary Moore(1984), Mike Oldfield(1985-91), Bonnie Tyler(1987), Simon Phillips(1985-87), Robin Millar, SADE (1994), Nik Kershaw(1994), Black(1994), Alan Parsons(1994), Howard Jones(1994), Gary Wallis, Pink Floyd(1994), Ronni Le Tekrö, TNT (2010-11), Grave Digger(2011), Billy Burnette(2016), Hanne Sørvaag(2016).
