Songwriter ("In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning", "Our Day Will Come"), composer and author. He wrote the Broadway stage scores for "Hazel Flagg" and "Angel in the Wings". Joining ASCAP in 1950, his chief musical collaborators included Carl Sigman, Jule Styne, Mort Garson, Sammy Mysels, Dick Sanford, Milton Delugg, Philip Springer, Lee Pockriss, and Sammy Fain.
