Kat Croft is a director, writer and producer who tells the stories of fiercely independent characters. Kat is a Sundance Institute and Women in Film Lab Fellow and her latest project Native Sisters is a doc-series with Trifecta Entertainment, that follows two Diné (Navajo) sisters on their quest around the world to meet the most badass, innovative indigenous women on the planet. Her most recent comedy short, that she directed, Mila and Mimi Too, premiered as an official selection of HBO'S Women in Comedy Festival and won The Spy Who Dumped Me Storytellers Contest sponsored by Lionsgate and Imagine Entertainment. Her debut short film, The Detail, premiered to a sold-out crowd at Cucalorus. Kat got her start in film and television in the art departments of Dawson's Creek, New Best Friend and HBO's Iron-Jawed Angels.
