Joe Knight

While studying acting for many years, Joe Knight began writing scripts from teen comedies to horror. After writing a screenplay for a mystery entitled Desert Heat, Joe started Tumbleweed Entertainment, LLC in 2002 and produced that film as an experimental project to learn the business of filmmaking. It was that project that launched a whole new passion for the art of Directing. In 2004, Joe made his "true" first feature titled The Blue Rose, a dramatic film with Daniel Baldwin, Danny Trejo, Dee Wallace Stone, Nancy Weyrauch and Joe Knight starring. In early 2007, Joe partnered with Westlake Entertainment to distribute The Blue Rose (2006) DVD worldwide. The film will officially be launched in September of 2007. In the development stages for his next film, Joe is turning to the family genre where he, along with wife Tamera, will produce with Joe also directing and should be completed by the end of 2007. Joe Knight is the President and CEO of Tumbleweed Entertainment, LLC and looks forward to producing films that will entertain the masses.
