Nikola Korabov

Nikola Korabov was born on December 7, 1928 in Ruse, Bulgaria. He studied at Moscow, VGIK. After coming back to Bulgaria, he has worked at Boyana Film Studio. Korabov is a Bulgarian film director and screenwriter. He directed thirteen films between 1956 and 1999. His film Tobacco (1962) was entered into the 1963 Cannes Film Festival. His film Bull (1965) was entered into the Fourth Moscow International Film Festival. His film Wrathful Journey (1971) was entered into the Seventh Moscow International Film Festival. He is known for Tobacco (1962), Destiny (1983), Ivan Kondarev (1974) and Yuliya Vrevskaya (1978).
