Kim Kopf was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Her father, Frank Jacob Kopf, Jr., was born in Atlantic City, NJ, served in the U.S. Army, and later managed an electronics firm. Her mother, Nancy Louise Kopf, was a housewife of Pennsylvania Dutch descent. Kim has an older sister, Lynda Louise Kopf. At a young age, Kim took piano lessons, and was in the church choir. Kim attended James Madison University, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in film and television production. After college, Kim's first job was working for Mark Rosenthal on the movie "The In Crowd". She then moved to NYC to pursue a career on the stage. This led to acting in commercials, television programs, and then feature films. Kim moved to Los Angeles, CA to continue her pursuit of film and television work. She studied acting at Playhouse West under the direction of Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum. Other fellow students included Ashley Judd, Shawnee Smith, and Christine Cavanaugh. Soon after her move, Kim was cast by Francis Ford Coppola_ in "Dracula" to do pickup shots for Monica Bellucci, where she worked alongside Anthony Hopkins and Gary Oldman_. She played the lead role in one of the Witchcraft series cult classics, "Witchcraft 8, Salem's Ghost". Kim had standout performances in the lead roles of the thrillers/horrors, "Zig Zag" and "Storm Swept", as well as a striking starring performance in the Tony Scott(-qv) executive produced comedy, "Big Time". She also was cast to voice the role of 'Hoverchair Mother' in the Academy Award winning Disney/Pixar feature film, "WALL-E". The versatile actress has had films at Cannes Film Festival, HBO Comedy Festival, N.Y. International Independent Film Festival, and Sundance Film Festival. After her father started developing signs of Alzheimer's, Kim began writing as a form of therapy. Kim wrote, produced, and starred in the web series, "Behind the Scenes". She also wrote, produced, and starred in the feature film "Searching For Ron Ficus" a comedy about dating in Los Angeles, as well as the thriller "Delusional", which also stars Perry King_( The Lord's of Flatbush). Kim stars alongside Christopher Atkins_ and Ernest Pierce in the indie film, "A Tennis Shoe in the Street". The heartfelt drama focuses on a war veteran suffering from PTSD. Kim stars in the sitcom, "Bruna in Beverly Hills". She is an executive producer of the comedy which is directed by renowned Italian director, Max Leonida. Kim also is in preproduction on the feature film, "Experiment 77". She wrote, and will be producing and starring alongside Jonathan Goldstein(Josh and Drake) and Ian Harvie(Transparent) in the horror/thriller. In her free time, Kim enjoys yoga and hiking. Kim is married to Joe Inch. They live in California with their rescue dog, Makana.
