Ivan Rusev Kozhuharov was born on July 27, 1934 in Burgas, in the same house, which later was born and raised the important Bulgarian poet Petya Dubarova. He graduated illustration and book design in Art Academy "N. Pavlovich ", Sofia, Bulgaria in class of Professor V. Staikov and Iliya Beshkov in 1959. He was an outstanding graphic designer. He illustrated the large number of books. He is the author of paintings in the Mausoleum in Pleven. He worked also as a production designer in Boyana Film Studios, Sofia. He was invited by Georgi Djulgerov and played successfully one of the main roles in the film "And the Day Came" (1973) being at the same time production designer of this picture. He died in 1994 in Sofia.
