Inesa Kurklietyte is an award-winning Lithuanian director who was named The International Film Festival Serseliafam's "Woman of the Year in Cinema." An academic, she teaches at the Academy of Music and Theatre and at the University of Kazimieras Simanavicius in Vilnius. Kurklietyte is the founding director of AMII (the Audiovisual Arts Industry Incubator) a training center for emerging filmmakers that is a collaboration between the Lithuanian Film Studio, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and Vilnius Academy of Arts. The center boasts excellent facilities and equipment and is a direct result of Kurklietyte's vision and leadership. Kurklietyte's reputation, filmmaking experience, European connections, and multi-lingual abilities (she speaks Lithuanian, English, Russian & French) are tremendous assets.
