One of the most influential dance teachers in Los Angeles. Her classes, taught along with her husband Bill, became legendary in the 1970s. After teaching at the Roland Dupree Dance Academy, they moved to the Coronet Theater in West Hollywood, attracting a loyal, devoted group of dancers inspired by their blend of modern, jazz, ballet, and peppered with international influences. Out of these classes was born Landrum Dance Theater featuring future choreographer Vincent Patterson.
