Born in Ilebo in 1960, Portuguese of Congolese origin. After studying business management in Rome, Zéka Laplaine chose to become a comedian. During one year of training, he works in theater and writes his first scripts. Back in Rome, he worked as an assistant director with Roger Vadim in Safari. In 1989, he moved to Paris to work with Jack Garfaein acting director. Continuing to write, he gets some roles in film and television.
