Andy Liebman

Andy is a documentary filmmaker specializing in science, medicine, nature and environment stories. His films -- which have appeared on US PBS series such as Frontline, NOVA, and Scientific American Frontiers as well as on Discovery Channel -- frequently capture science as it is intersecting with politics and public policy. Andy has received two national US Emmy awards as well as the Alfred I. duPont Columbia Silver Baton Award for excellence in television journalism. Andy is also a software entrepreneur and technologist. In 2004, he founded and became the CEO of EditShare, where over the years he led his company to win numerous media industry technology innovation awards, including three IABM BAM awards as well as a technical Emmy for remote editing workflows. Andy is a graduate from Tufts University where he studied philosophy.
