Kevin has directed, produced and written more than two-dozen documentary films for Netflix, Showtime, HBO, TNT, Nat Geo and A&E. Several of Kevin's most successful films have explored the deep problems facing the criminal justice system. He's built compelling stories around the lives of murderers, detectives, prosecutors and victims. Recent producing projects include "The Lincoln Project," "The Innocence Files" and "Class Action," a 12-part documentary podcast series about the next generation of lawyers. Kevin directed episodes for these series, supervised story, oversaw post and was the primary producing director for dramatic recreations. Born to working class parents in Pennsylvania, Kevin graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Urban Studies, then completed his Masters at Emerson College in Boston. He began his career at PBS with "The American Experience" and went on to produce non-scripted docs in the long form units at CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox. In 2008 he moved on to independent film production.
