Simon Howley

Simon Howley is a British scripted producer and director. Simon comes from a strong factual and documentary background. He started as a journalist on local newspapers in his native Yorkshire, before working at the BBC in Janet Street Porters "Yoof" dept as a reporter on Reportage and a producer on Rough Guides to the World. This was followed with stints producing The Big Breakfast and directing Graham Norton in a sex and drugs in Hollywood special for Channel 4 - Hollywood Unzipped. Simon's career has also seen him finding the inside man on the Great Train Robbery and dealing with gangs and dog fighters on the streets of Detroit. Simon moved in to the scripted space in 2014 with A Tale of Two Thieves. Since then he has developed and produced projects for the UK, US and international markets with talent including Stephen Rea, Fred Armisen and Mat Horne.
