Issam M. Husseini

Issam Husseini Award winning director Issam Al-Husseini has played a major role in advancing the TV advertising and feature film industry in Jordan. Bringing his BS in Radio/TV/Film production from TCU (Fort Worth, Texas) and two years experience working in the US market, he returned to Jordan in 1994. Quickly he began to attain new levels of production quality and techniques, and set new standards for film production in Jordan. As a television advertisement director he has been given some of the largest commercial budgets ever spent on TV commercials and campaigns in the region. Clients promoting themselves through his work include Orange Telecom, Royal Jordanian Airlines, the Royal Hashemite Court, Adidas, Bright Crescent Foundation, Saraya Holdings and more. Queen Rania of Jordan called upon Issam to direct numerous videos in the early stages of creating her world-renowned YouTube channel. In the feature film industry he has been personally selected by some of Hollywood's hottest directors as a partner when they needed to film in Jordan, including Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) , Doug Liman (Fair Game), Gareth Edwards (Monsters), Rajeev Dassani (Seam), David Semel (Star Trek - Discovery) and Andrew McCarthy (Condor). International directors such as Dante Lam (The Viral Factor) have also sought him out when coming to Jordan to film. Today his work speaks for itself, echoed by the recognition that comes with garnering more than 60 awards from the International Advertising Association - Jordan chapter. Large corporate clients and internationally known filmmakers who have worked with Issam would all do so again.
