John Hundley appeared on musical stages beginning in the 1920s. "Polly" (1928), "Heads Up" (1929) and "Spring is Here" (1929) were some of the musicals in which he performed. In 1932 he was signed by producer Courtney Burr for a Vernon Duke-E.Y. Harburg musical, "Walk a Little Faster," starring Beatrice Lillie, Clark & McCullough and Evelyn Hoey. In 1938 Hundley joined CBS Radio as an announcer. This led to various positions in programming and sales. For twenty years he was executive in charge of censorship until his retirement in 1965.
