Tomiyasu Ikeda was born on May 15, 1892 in Nakayokawa, Hyôgo, Japan [now Miki, Hyôgo, Japan]. He was a director and writer, known for Araki Mataemon (1925), Revere the Emperor, Expel the Barbarians (1927) and Yaji and Kita: Chapter of Idaten (1928). He died on September 24, 1968 in Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan.
